PLANS FOR THE HALL

The Mongarlowe Community Hall and Refuge Centre (MCHRC) will build a stronger more resilient community through addressing bushfire recovery priorities primarily by providing a sustainable Neighbourhood Safe Place (NSP). This community-led response will also serve as a focus for the social, cultural and economic recovery needs of the community. Members of the community will then be able to hire out the hall as a venue for events, classes and recreational activities through this website.

Construction of the hall has been made possible by a successful application for the 2019/20 Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program, support from the QPRC Natural Disaster Resilience Program, and also the Bendigo Bank Bushfire Recovery Grants Program.
